Rumbling Adventures NZ – Ride Safe, Ride Epic
Terms & Conditions (Simplified + Rider-Friendly)
At Rumbling Adventures New Zealand, your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities. We want every ride to be unforgettable, safe, and hassle-free. By booking a tour with us, you agree to the following guidelines - designed to protect you, your fellow riders, and the adventure itself.
1. Bookings & Payments

Deposit: NZD $1,500 secures your spot and locks in your bike choice (from what’s available). Deposits are non-refundable.

Final Balance: Due 30 days before the ride. If unpaid, your booking is cancelled.

Payment Options: Bank transfer or credit card (note: 3.3% surcharge on card payments).

Bond: A fully refundable bond of NZD $2,500 per motorcycle is required at the start of the ride to cover potential damage.
All prices include New Zealand’s 15% GST.
2. Cancellations

If you cancel:

More than 30 days before departure → refund of what you’ve paid, minus the deposit.

Less than 30 days or no-show → 100% of tour cost is forfeited.

We recommend travel insurance for unexpected events.

If we cancel (e.g. weather, lack of riders, natural events):

We’ll notify you immediately.

You can reschedule to another date OR receive a refund (minus any prepaid accommodation/activities).

We are not liable for your travel or extra costs outside the ride itself.

3. Who Can Ride
To keep the adventure safe and flowing:

Riders must be 21+ years old.
-
A full motorcycle licence valid in NZ (or international permit) is required.

Riders should have off-road/adventure experience. These rides are not suitable for beginners.
4. Bikes

Motorcycles are provided by Rumbling Adventures.

Choice depends on availability at booking — first in, first served.
5. Fitness, Safety & Responsibility
We expect every rider to be in good physical and mental condition, able to handle an adventure bike off-road.
Riders must:

Ride at their own pace and ability level.

Follow all NZ traffic laws and speed limits.
-
Never ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Guides may stop a rider’s participation if they believe someone is unsafe to themselves, the group, or the public. No refund will be issued in this case.
6. Insurance

Motorcycles: All Rumbling Adventures bikes come with full comprehensive insurance.

Bond: Your $2,500 bond covers potential damage. Payable by credit card or cash. It’s refunded if the bike is returned undamaged.
7. Extra Costs

Traffic fines, parking tickets, or personal expenses are the rider’s responsibility.
8. Privacy
We value your trust. Your personal information is stored securely and handled under New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020.
